Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Direct Sales Agent (DSA) course is to prepare learners to work effectively as field-level sales representatives for banks, NBFCs, insurance firms, and fintech companies. The course provides training in understanding various financial products such as loans, credit cards, insurance policies, and investment schemes. It also covers customer profiling, sales pitching techniques, documentation processes, lead generation, and follow-up strategies.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Introduction to Direct Sales and Banking Products: Role and responsibilities of a DSA, Introduction to banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions, Overview of retail banking products (loans, credit cards, savings accounts), Basics of financial services and their benefits, Importance of DSAs in financial inclusion, Understanding customer segments and market reach, Common terms in banking and finance, Regulatory framework and RBI guidelines for DSAs, Scope and career growth as a DSA, Ethics and integrity in financial sales.
Module 2: Banking and Financial Products Knowledge: Home loans, personal loans, and business loans, Credit cards and their features, Fixed deposits and recurring deposits, Savings and current accounts, Insurance products and cross-selling, Loan against property and gold loans, MSME and agriculture loans overview, Eligibility criteria and required documentation, Features, benefits, and comparison of products, Risk and fraud awareness in product marketing.
Module 3: Lead Generation and Prospecting Techniques: Identifying potential customers and target markets, Cold calling and field visits, Referral and network marketing methods, Using digital platforms and social media for lead generation, Door-to-door marketing approach, Building trust and rapport with prospects, Qualifying leads effectively, Maintaining lead tracking sheets or CRM entries, Following up with interested customers, Overcoming challenges in lead conversion.
