Objective: The objective of this course is to equip learners with foundational knowledge of human nutrition, balanced diets, and the science of healthy eating. Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Fundamental Food Microbiology: Introduction to microbes in food, history and development of food microbiology, sources of microorganisms in foods, factors influencing microbial growth in food, microbiology of fermented food production, microbial food spoilage.
Human Physiology: Introduction to the human body, the cells, tissues and organisation of the body, the blood, the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system, the nervous system, the special senses, the endocrine system, the respiratory system.
Clinical Nutrition: Steps for the medical evaluation of the obese patient, dietary therapy, exercise therapy for the overweight adult, surgical treatment of obesity.
Diet Therapy: Foods, nutrition and health, fats and other lipids, proteins and amino acids, nutrition for fitness, athletics and sports, food sanitation and hygiene, diet and nutrition in kidney diseases.
Principles of Nutrition: Introduction, objectives, functions of food, energy, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, water, anti- nutritional factors, meal planning.
Food and Nutrition Basic Concepts: Nutritional status and primary health care, food basic concept, nutrients, concepts of meal planning.
