DBMS: Introduction to data, elements of DBMS, record based logical model, hash file organization, evaluation of expressions, additional operations, object oriented data base, structured query language(SQL), integrity constraints.
Software Engineering: Introduction to software engineering, software requirements, a strategic approach for software testing, quality management, statistical software quality assurance, non- functional requirements.
Information Technology: Introduction to information technology, development of information technology, computer technology, communication technology, key words, definition of information technology (IT), software aspects.
Computer Networks: Evolution of internet, types of network, network hardware, network software, internet protocol, subnet and subnet mask, TCP IP: routing, fundamentals and circuit switching efficiency, virtual circuit- switched network.
