Warehousing and Distribution Operations: Importance of inventory management, inventory costs, warehouse functions, efficient warehouse/distribution center operations, important warehouse/distribution center decisions, profitable value-added services.
Transportation Management and Planning: Introduction to transportation planning, travel characteristics and data, land use and urban design, transportation finance and funding, travel demand and network modeling, evaluation and prioritization methods, road and highway planning.
Material Management: Introduction and meaning, scope or functions of materials management, material planning and control, stores management, inventory control or management, purchasing.
