Perspectives of Human Rights: Concept of human rights and duties, historical, philosophical and social perspectives, united nations and human rights and duties, human rights and duties in India, societal problems in private and public domains, importance of internalizing of human rights and duties.
Refugee Law: Definition of a refugee: criteria used, general principles for determining refugee status, refugees and other foreigners, refugee protection and human rights, codification of refugee law, convention on the rights of the child, laws for refugees, evacuees and displaced persons.
Rights of Minorities, Women and Children: Introduction, objectives, definition of human rights, principles or characteristics of human rights, evolution of the concept, the natural rights theory, legal theory of human rights, universal declaration of human rights (UDHR), landmark human rights conferences, origins of international human rights law, core of international human rights law.
