Eligibility: 10th Grade (high school) or Equivalent.
Duration: Six Months.
Objective: The Diploma in Garment Making course is designed to provide comprehensive training in designing, drafting, cutting, sewing, and finishing garments. The course prepares learners for careers in the fashion and textile industries by equipping them with both technical and creative skills in garment construction.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.
Online Examination Detail:
Duration- 120 minutes.
No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Basic Flat Pattern Drafting: Draft of trapeze dress pattern, blouse – sleeve and grading, pattern drafting, jacket and coat shoulder pad, jacket with notch collar, draft of cardigan jacket, coat collar drafting, drafts of hood and cape.
Basic Garment Details: Garment market, garment manufacturing, garment factory project details, state government incentives for garment projects, types of garments, garment manufacturing process, spreading & cutting.
Pattern Making: Introduction, methods of presenting drafting, place of pattern study in the sewing course, neck scales used in drafting patterns, placing the shoulder seam, neck curve and extension below waist, patterns based on the shirtwaist, measures used in drafting sleeve patterns.
Garment Construction: Introduction, elements and principles of design, Dot, line, form and basic shapes, colour, texture, warm and cool colours, visual effects of colour in dress, factors to be considered in selecting dress designs for women and children, accessories used in fashion designing.
Fashion Concept: Introduction to fashion, fashion forecasting, theories of fashion, factors affecting fashion, components of fashion, principle of fashion and fashion cycle, fashion centres in the world, careers in fashion and apparel industry, role & responsibilities of a fashion designer.
Fundamental of Textile: Introduction, textile raw materials, yarn manufacturing, fabric manufacturing, textile processing, clothing, technical textiles, textile testing, disposal and recycling textiles, quality control and quality assurance, computer application in textiles.
