Plant Propagation: Types propagation: sexual propagation, asexual propagation,  root cutting & tubers, leaf cutting, runners & offsets, rooting stemp cutting, rooting media, rooting hormone, stock plant, care of rooted, propagation bar hardwood cutting.

Entomology for Gardeners: Basic of classification, insect from and structure- morphology, insect development- metamorphosis, types of insect injury, insects as disseminators of plant diseases, benefits and value of insects, pesticides.

Plant Diseases, Pests, and Problems: Historical perspectives, monitoring populations, economics and yield loss relationship, the environment and pests, principles of control, biological control using rhizosphere bacteria.
