Introduction to Caricature: Gutenberg and the printing press, religious debates and the fear of print, print and dissent, print culture and the French revolution, children, women and workers, women and print, print and the poor people.
Fundamental of Drawing: Introduction, materials and examples of marks, ways of holding the pencil, pencil projects, ways of holding the charcoal, charcoal projects compressed charcoal projects, pens, inks, brushes and paper.
Digital Painting: Nature study with pencil and colour, still life shading, portraiture, creative forms of composition, poster making, creating texture and printing, collage making.
The fundamentals of Graphic Design: Graphic design as a discipline, influences and creative elements, the graphic design process, delivering the message, procuring work, the production process.
Introduction to Animation: Introduction to animation, traditional animation, stop motion animation, 3D and 2D animation, production pipeline, pre-production and storyboarding.
Portfolio: Portfolio development, portfolio tips, artist statement, writing for your portfolio, digital portfolio strategies.
