Development and Organisation of Construction Projects: Construction practices, management system, project cost estimating, project planning, project scheduling, production planning, resource management, project time management, project cost system, project financial management.
Purchase and Storage Management: Purchase objective and functions, functions of purchasing department/management, purchasing systems, meaning of purchase cycle, types of vendor development.
Project cost estimation: Project cost estimates: types of costs, identifying cost items, contingency allowances, benefit valuation methodology, valuing project outputs.
Planning for Equipment: Equipment management in construction projects, equipment planning, extent of mechanization, forecasting equipment requirement, scientific planning, purchase of equipment.
