Tourism Management: Concept and functions of management, role, skills and tasks of manager, concept and theories for motivation of tourism, leadership theories and styles, individual and group behavior.
Travel Management: Objectives, concept of transport, linkages between transport and tourism, characteristics of tourist transpiration, means of transport in India, transport to promote tourist.
Itinerary Planning and Tour Packaging; Objectives, meaning and types of itinerary, steps in developing/ planning a tour itinerary, background information for preparing itinerary, itinerary for git and Fit tours, meaning and types of tour packages, package elements and deals, Group inclusive tours and tailor- made package or Fits, package tour formulation process, tour brochure designing, tour voucher.
Communication and Personality: Objectives, concept and meaning communication, oral communication, meetings, written communication, principles of effective writing, customer care management, personality.
