Objective: The Professional Diploma in Labour Welfare & Industrial Relations aims to equip learners with a comprehensive understanding of labor laws, employee welfare systems, and industrial relations practices essential for maintaining a balanced and productive workplace environment. How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 120 minutes.
No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Evolution of Labour Welfare and Industrial Relations: Concept and Philosophy of Labour Welfare, Historical Evolution of Industrial Relations, Theories of Industrial Relations (Unitary, Pluralist, Marxist), Socio-Economic Problems of Industrial Labour, International Labour Organization (ILO) Frameworks and Impact, State Policy and Labour Welfare in Modern Economies, Constitutional Provisions Regarding Labour Rights, Principles of Labour Legislation, Tripartite and Bipartite Consultation Mechanisms, Role of Labour Administration in Central and State Spheres.
Module 2: Industrial Relations Dynamics and Trade Unionism: Structure and Characteristics of Trade Unions, Trade Union Growth and Major Federations, Recognition of Trade Unions and Inter-Union Rivalries, Concepts and Methods of Collective Bargaining, Workers’ Participation in Management (WPM), Dynamics of Industrial Disputes and Conflict, Manifestations of Conflict (Strikes, Lockouts, Gheraos, Layoffs), Grievance Redressal Mechanisms and Procedures, Code of Discipline in Industry, Impact of Technological Changes on Employee Relations.
