Fundamentals of Fire Engineering Science: Fundamental requirements, fire resistance, emergency & fire prevention plan, alarm system, evacuation, emergency training, personal protection, fire prevention plan.
Construction Safety: Fire extinguisher, personal hazards, appropriate prevention measures, good housekeeping, chemical hazards, hazardous properties, flammable liquid handling and storage, basic safety principles.
Industrial &Environmental Safety: Introduction, escape route, access to exits, maintaining escape routes, emergency action plan, fire prevention plan, portable fire extinguishers, maintaining portable fire extinguishers, portable fire extinguisher training and education.
Fire Fighting Drills: Fire hazards and risk, sources of ignition, fuels, classes of fire, fire prevention, fire safety at home, fire procedure- fire alarm, fire drills.
Fire Control Technology: Types of fire extinguishers, fire extinguishers inspections, all-purpose water, dry chemical extinguisher (A, B, C), carbon dioxide extinguisher (B, C).
Emergency Planning & First Aid: Medical assistance, first aid/ medical procedures, emergency action plan,plan for fire emergencies, no smoking policy.
