Course Name: Advanced Training in Yoga & Acupressure Therapy
Course Id: ATYAT/Q1001.
Eligibility: A high school (10th grade) or equivalent.
Objective: To provide students with comprehensive knowledge of Yoga practices and Acupressure techniques, enabling them to use both therapies to promote physical well-being, manage stress, treat chronic conditions, and enhance overall health.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Foundations of Yoga and Acupressure: History and philosophy of Yoga, Origin and development of Acupressure, Concept of Panchamahabhutas and Trigunas, Introduction to Nadis and Chakras, Principles of Acupressure points and meridians, Differences and similarities between Yoga and Acupressure, Role of Prana and energy flow in healing, Introduction to Yogic texts (Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Pradipika), Ethics and principles of a Yoga therapist, Safety and hygiene practices in therapy.
Advanced Yogasanas (Postures): Standing postures (Trikonasana, Vrikshasana), Seated postures (Padmasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana), Forward bends and backward bends (Paschimottanasana, Bhujangasana), Inversions (Sarvangasana, Shirshasana), Twisting postures, Balance postures, Core strengthening asanas, Therapeutic applications of specific asanas, Contraindications and modifications, Asana sequencing for different disorders.
Pranayama and Kriyas: Definition and types of Pranayama (Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari), Benefits and precautions of each Pranayama, Bandhas and their application (Jalandhara, Uddiyana, Moola), Kumbhaka (breath retention) techniques, Yogic cleansing techniques (Neti, Dhauti, Basti, Trataka, Kapalabhati, Nauli), Pranayama for stress relief, Pranayama for respiratory health, Integration of breath with asanas, Energetic impact of Pranayama on the body, Role of breath in acupressure therapy.
