Course Name: Diploma in Workplace Safety & Environmental Compliance
Course Id: DESWC/Q0101.
Eligibility: 10th (High School) or equivalent is required.
Objective: This course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to ensure a safe working environment and uphold environmental standards across various industries. It covers key areas such as occupational health and safety regulations, risk assessment, incident prevention, waste management, environmental policies, and compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
Duration: 400 hrs (Equivalent to One Year)
 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
 Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.
Online Examination Detail:
- Duration- 120 minutes.
- No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
- 10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
- Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.
- There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Workplace Safety
Introduction to occupational safety, Importance of workplace safety culture, Types of workplace hazards, Accident causation theories, Risk assessment principles, Hierarchy of hazard control, Personal protective equipment (PPE), Workplace safety policies and procedures, International safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001), Roles and responsibilities of safety officers.
Module 2: Occupational Health and Safety Practices
Occupational health principles, Industrial hygiene and exposure control, Ergonomics in the workplace, Fire safety and emergency procedures, Electrical and mechanical safety, Confined space entry safety, Machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures, Noise and vibration control, First aid and basic life support, Incident reporting and investigation.
Module 3: Environmental Management Systems
Principles of environmental protection, Pollution types and control methods, Waste management and recycling practices, Hazardous materials handling and storage, Water conservation and wastewater treatment, Air quality management, Energy efficiency and conservation practices, Environmental impact assessment (EIA), ISO 14001 standards, Green workplace initiatives.
