Fundamentals of Travel and Tourism: Introduction, objectives, changing facets of tourism, different approaches to study of tourism, the importance of managerial perspective to study of tourism, definition of a tourist, definition of tourist adopted by different countries, comprehensive classification of travellers.
Geography & Tourism And Destinations in India: Introduction, tour operations, how to make a tour package, elements of tourism supply chain, types of itinerary, learning objectives, some famous tourist destinations, meaning of the name and history.
Tourism Marketing: Marketing management process and market research, marketing strategies and controlling marketing programs, basic concepts of entrepreneurship development, development of tourism entrepreneurship.
Resort & Transportation Management: Introduction to transport system, objectives, transports as a product and its functional role, elements of transportation, organization in transport sector at the national level, characteristics of transportation services, interdependence of tourism products.
Principles of Management: Evolution of management science, top level of management, importance of planning, importance of organizing function, nature and characteristics of leadership, importance of communication in management, importance of controlling.
Basics of Book Keeping: Basic of book- keeping and accountancy, books of accounts and accounting records, depreciation, rectification of errors, trial balance and final accounts.
