Introduction to Display Devices: Electronic information displays, picture (TV) tubes (kinescopes.) color picture tubes, flat panel display, led displays, gas discharge displays and plasma display panels, liquid crystal displays, field emission displays.
Display Technologies: India display manufacturing plan, evolution of displays & display – centric products, display manufacturing economies of scale, the display supply chain the infrastructure.
Troubleshooting & Repair of Television & Display Devices: Basic occupational and precautions, microphones and loudspeakers, recorders, TV system, modern appliances.
Business & Marketing Aspects of Television Manufacturing: Introduction, the electronic industry of India, special focus on television industry, LCD televisions, basic types of televisions.
Display Device Design & Development: Introduction to number systems, decimal number system, octal number system, number representation in binary, floating- point numbers, binary coded decimal, alphanumeric codes, error detection and correction codes, binary multiplication, transistor transistor logic.
Television Components & Assembly: Introduction, elements of television system. picture transmission, composite video signal.
