Introduction to Safety Management: Introduction means to control health and safety hazards, evaluation of a safety management system, safety management systems, key functions of a safety management system, safety policy and planning, hazard management, safety auditing, management safety audit tools.
Occupational Health and Safety: Introduction, sources of information on health and safety, key elements of a health and safety policy, role and functions of health and safety and other advisers, human errors and violations, health and safety training, health risks, manual handling hazards and injuries.
Fire Safety Management: Physics and chemistry of fire, heat transfer, hazards and risk, combustion process, fire extinguishment, combustion products, fire protection equipment & systems, different factors affecting safe egress, importance of fire safety management, fire protection equipments & systems, types of fire pumps, water based fire extinguishing system.
Security Management Fundamentals: Integrated threat management, understanding information security management systems, service-oriented architecture and web services security, information technology infrastructure library and security management.
Emergency Preparedness and Response: Definition of disaster, roles and responsibilities, emergency response management, disaster response plan, details of disaster management plan, medicinal facilities, resource availability, declaring emergency.
