Quality Audits and Documentation: Objectives, origin and evolution, scope of auditing , principles of auditing, meaning and definition of errors and frauds, types of errors , types of frauds, basic principles of audit , audit types, advantages and disadvantages of test checking, meaning and definition of internal control.
Quality Management Systems: Introduction, factors influencing construction quality, quality management principles, quality related training, implementing a quality system, benefits of quality management systems.
Statistical Process Control (SPC): Introduction to SPC thinking, statistical distributions, data collection & recording, problem-solving techniques, general concepts of control charting, control charts for variable data, control chart analysis.
Supplier Quality Management: Introduction to quality management, philosophy of quality management, types of quality efforts, the role of quality professionals, making the connections, managing supplier relationships.
