Introduction to Multimedia: A concise history of multimedia, early multimedia computing, hypermedia and hypertext, combining content from various media linear VS interactive multimedia, nonlinear interactive multimedia, kinds of multimedia.
Digital Imaging: Digital image fundamental, components of an image processing system, elements of visual perception, image formation in the eye, uniform quantization, image resolution, representing digital images, spatial and gray- level resolution.
2D Animation: Frames per second, flipping, flicking and rolling, how animation works the basics, how to use a line tester to help your animation, animation straight ahead, key to key animation, animation paper.
3D Animation: Defining 3D animation, exploring the 3D animation industry, the history of 3D animation.
Film Appreciation: What is cinema, signs, basic film Grammar, camera movements, camera angles, importance of sound.
Autodesk Maya: Work with menus, use the status line buttons, access the shelf, explore the channel box and layer editor, identify the animation controls the command line and the help line, use the tool box and quick layout buttons.
