Tax Management: Basic for taxation, direct taxes and indirect taxes, laws relating to central excise, duties leviable, goods, excisability of plant & machinery, waste and scrap, classification of goods, value based on retail sales price, refund & other important provisions.
Customs law: Meaning and scope of supply, classes of officers under the central goods and service tax act, levy and collection of central/state goods and service tax, taxable person, time of supply of goods, value of taxable supply, manner of recovery of credit distributed in excess, tax invoice, matching, reversal and re-claim of input tax credit.
Income Tax: Introduction, basic concept of income tax act, concept of income, type of capital, capital and revenue receipts, basis of charge, due basis of taxation, profits and losses of speculation business, continuation of business or procession.
Investment analysis: Introduction to investment, investment avenues, capital market in India, risk and return relationship, portfolio management, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, efficient market hypothesis, capital asset pricing model, portfolio performance measurement.
