Introduction to Interior Designing: Basics of interior design and functional aspects, furniture design and details, planning of residential interior spaces, civil components, perspective drawing and basics of computer, basic of auto cad software and preliminary auto cad software, civil components (ceiling & flooring), joinery details and paints, plumbing and sanitation, lighting, electrical & air conditioning.

Design Principles and Elements: Materials, colour, shape, texture, the concept of space, contrast, pattern, lighting in architectural design, acoustic influences in design.

Drafting and Technical Drawing: Drawing and drafting fundamentals, drawing classification systems, construction drawings, specifications, and contracts, floor plans, elevations, specialty drawings and details, finish plans, reflected ceiling and electrical plans, mechanical and plumbing plans, reproduction methods and computers.

Interior Design and Environmental: General design principles, well – being, sustainability, flexibility & accessibility, room & sizes, furniture & accessories, protection, wall finishes.

Space Planning and Layout Design: Introduction, functional layout, factors affecting on space utility, AutoCAD plan, sketch up, thermal comfort, thermal comfort for kitchen, cost estimation.

Commercial and Retail Design: Commercial interior design, forces that shape commercial interior design, research and project process, project management, office interior design elements.
