Housekeeping Management: Introduction, meaning of housekeeping in hotel, importance of housekeeping department, responsibilities of housekeeping department, advantages and disadvantages of contract services, cleaning equipment, types of equipment, care and cleaning of different surfaces, types of rooms.
Hospitality Marketing: Introduction, importance of marketing in hospitality, marketing management, market environment, consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, sales management.
Hospitality Law and Ethics: Introduction, definition of law, aviation laws and the Indian context, the legislations related to airlines in India, evolution of product liability, hygiene and food.
Front Office Operations: Introduction, classifying hotels, role of front office, marketing and sales department, housekeeping department, food and beverage department, front office functions, rooms reservation.
Food and Beverage Management: Introduction, f & b control, cost & sales concepts, frauds in f & b control, inventory control, f& b management, menu management, f& b management in fast-food and popular catering, f & b management in function catering.
