Disaster Risk Management: Need for the plan, objectives of the plan, plan activation, plan implementation, emergency response and recovery overview, hazard, vulnerability and risk, advance preparations & mock-drill, important telephone numbers.
Emergency Response and Crisis Management: Introduction, the health consequences of emergencies and disasters, health and related services, monitoring and evaluation, national disaster management agency, risk reduction measures.
Disaster Risk Mitigation: Introduction, nature of flood, causes and impacts, forecasting, warming and monitoring, preparedness and response, mitigation, past flood disasters.
Natural Hazards Risk management: Introduction, natural disaster: meaning and nature, types of natural disasters in India, disaster profile of India: regional and seasonal, efforts of disasters, efforts to mitigate disasters.
