Introduction to foundation in Economics: Definition and scope of economics, factors of production and its classification, economies of scale, functions of money, meaning of money market, types of decision, techniques of decision making.
Data Analytics and statistical Techniques: Probability and random variables, functions of random variables, log- normal distribution, the acceptance- rejection method, constructing a test statistic, regularization functions, variance and bias of the estimators, numerical implementation.
Software and Programming Tools: Introduction, software development projects, exploratory style of software development, emergence of software engineering, computer systems engineering, rapid application development, responsibilities of a software project manager, software requirements specification (SRS), basic object- orientation concepts.
Data analytics in Economics: Introduction, qualitative data, data strategies, conceptualizing data analysis as a process, managing the data analysis process, data procedures and methods, method for quantitative analysis.
Research Methodology: Perception of research, foundation of hypothesis, research planning and sampling, design of experiments, tools of research, collection of data, analysis of data, organisation of statistical data.
