Course Name: Diploma in CCTV, DVR & Video Surveillance Systems
Course Id: DCDVSS/Q1001.
Eligibility: 10th Grade (high School) or equivalent.
Objective: The primary goal is to equip students with job-ready technical skills in the full life cycle of a surveillance system. This includes system design, hardware assembly and installation, configuration of Digital Video Recorders () and Network Video Recorders (), network integration, and diagnosing system faults. Graduates will be prepared to implement, maintain, and manage reliable video security infrastructure for diverse client needs.
Duration: Six Months.

- Duration- 120 minutes.
- No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
- 10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
- Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 2: Camera and Lens Selection Understanding Camera Resolution and Image Quality, Lens Fundamentals (Focal Length, Aperture, Iris), Calculating Field of View (FoV) and Depth of Field (DoF), Selecting the Correct Lens for Specific Applications, Illumination Principles and Lux Levels, Infrared (IR) Technology and Night Vision, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Backlight Compensation (BLC), Camera Housing and Environmental Protection (IP Ratings), Specialized Camera Features (Auto-Tracking, Thermal), Camera Mounting Methods and Positioning Strategy.
