Eligibility: 10th Grade (high School) or equivalent.
Objective: The main objective is to provide students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to become a competent security technician. This involves mastering system components, networking, installation best practices, and effective management. Graduates will be able to design, implement, and maintain reliable surveillance infrastructure while understanding the legal and operational requirements of the security industry.
Duration: Six Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.
Online Examination Detail:
- Duration- 120 minutes.
- No. of Questions- 60. (Multiple Choice Questions).
- 10 Questions from each module, each carry 10 marks.
- Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks- 40%.
- There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Fundamentals of CCTV Systems and Components Introduction to Surveillance and CCTV Technology, Analog vs. IP (Network) System Architectures, Types of CCTV Cameras (Dome, Bullet, PTZ, Box), Camera Sensor Technology (CCD, CMOS, Resolution), Understanding Camera Lenses (Focal Length, Aperture, FoV), Digital Video Recorders (DVR) and Network Video Recorders (NVR), Video Compression Standards (H.264, H.265, MJPEG), Video Signal Transmission Media (Coaxial, Cat5/6, Fiber Optic), Power Supply Solutions (Individual, Centralized, PoE), Monitors, Display Technologies, and Video Wall Setup.
Module 2: CCTV Installation and Cabling Techniques Site Survey and System Design Principles, Strategic Camera Placement for Optimal Coverage, Tools and Equipment for CCTV Installation, Cable Laying, Routing, and Management Practices, Connector Types (BNC, RJ45) and Crimping Techniques, Proper Grounding and Surge Protection, Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch Configuration, Long-Distance Transmission Solutions and Signal Amplification, Indoor and Outdoor Camera Mounting and Housing, System Documentation and As-Built Drawings.
Module 3: IP Networking for Surveillance Introduction to IP Networking Concepts, TCP/IP, OSI Model, and Network Protocols, IP Addressing (Static, Dynamic, Subnetting), Routers, Switches, and Network Architecture, Network Configuration for NVR and IP Cameras, Remote Access and Port Forwarding Techniques, Bandwidth Calculation and Management for Video Streaming, Network Security and Cybersecurity for IP Video, Cloud Storage and Remote Monitoring Setup, Troubleshooting Network Connectivity Issues.
Module 4: Advanced Image and Video Features Illumination and Night Vision Technology (IR and Low-Light), Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Backlight Compensation (BLC), Frame Rate, Shutter Speed, and Image Quality Settings, Digital and Optical Zoom Functions, Video Analytics and Intelligent Features (Motion Detection, Intrusion), Facial Recognition and License Plate Recognition (LPR) Overview, Time-Lapse Recording and Event-Based Recording Configuration, Audio Integration and Two-Way Communication, Forensic Video Analysis Basics and Evidence Export, Camera Firmware Updates and System Maintenance.
