Objective: The Certified Six Sigma Specialist course aims to develop professionals with a strong foundation in the Six Sigma methodology and its application to process improvement and quality management. This program focuses on the DMAIC framework (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to systematically reduce defects, minimize variation, and improve performance in business operations.

Duration: Three Month.

Module 1: Introduction to Six Sigma and Quality Management: History and evolution of Six Sigma, Principles and goals of Six Sigma, Key concepts: Defects, Variability, Process capability, Six Sigma roles and responsibilities (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.), Overview of DMAIC methodology, Relationship between Six Sigma and other quality initiatives (TQM, ISO).

Module 2: Define Phase: Understanding customer needs (VOC), Project selection and chartering, SIPOC diagram creation, Identifying CTQs (Critical to Quality), Stakeholder analysis and communication plan, Problem statement and goal definition.

Module 3: Measure Phase: Types of data and measurement scales, Selecting appropriate metrics, Creating data collection plans, Measurement system analysis (Gage R&R), Process mapping and capability analysis, Baseline performance determination.

Module 4: Analyze Phase: Identifying root causes of problems, Tools for analysis (Cause and Effect Diagram, 5 Whys), Data analysis techniques (histograms, Pareto charts, box plots), Hypothesis testing basics, Correlation and regression analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
