Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent.

Objective: The Certified Weightlifting Coach course is designed to equip fitness professionals and coaches with the expertise to train athletes in Olympic weightlifting techniques safely and effectively. The program covers biomechanics of lifts such as the snatch and clean & jerk, strength and conditioning principles, periodization, injury prevention, coaching methodologies, and athlete assessment. 

Duration: Three Month.

🎓 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

✔️ Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

✔️ Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.

✔️ Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Olympic Weightlifting and Coaching Principles: History and structure of Olympic weightlifting (snatch and clean & jerk), Rules and competition format by IWF standards, Roles and responsibilities of a weightlifting coach, Athlete assessment and screening for weightlifting readiness, Phases of long-term athlete development (LTAD) in weightlifting, Coaching ethics, communication, and goal setting.

Module 2: Biomechanics and Technique of Olympic Lifts; Kinetic and kinematic analysis of the snatch and clean & jerk, Breakdown of movement phases: setup, pull, turnover, catch, recovery, Technical models and ideal positions at each stage, Mobility, flexibility, and anatomical demands of lifts, Common errors and correction strategies, Video analysis and performance feedback methods.

Module 3: Teaching Progressions and Accessory Lifts: Progressions for teaching the snatch and clean & jerk step-by-step, Teaching with PVC, light bars, and progressing to full loads, Use of derivative and positional lifts (e.g., hang snatch, power clean), Assistance exercises to strengthen key phases (pulls, squats, presses), Developing balance, coordination, and motor learning through drills, Periodic technical refinement and variation.

Module 4: Program Design, Periodization, and Load Management: Principles of program planning for different training levels, Volume, intensity, and frequency variables in weightlifting, Periodization models: linear, undulating, and block periodization, Tapering strategies before testing or competition, Recovery protocols and deload scheduling, Using training logs, software, and performance metrics.

Module 5: Strength, Mobility, and Conditioning for Weightlifters: Building maximal and explosive strength through squats and pulls, Core stabilization and trunk strength development, Mobility routines for hips, shoulders, ankles, and thoracic spine, Conditioning and general physical preparedness (GPP) for weightlifters, Plyometrics and speed work to support Olympic lifts, Injury prevention and prehab strategies.
