Eligibility: 10th (High School) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The goal is to provide comprehensive, practical skills for installing, setting up, and managing / systems and their surveillance networks. This includes mastering camera selection, system configuration for recording and remote viewing, troubleshooting common faults, and implementing proper data backup and evidence retrieval procedures while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.

Module 1: Foundations of Video Surveillance Introduction to Security Surveillance Principles, History and Evolution of CCTV, Components of an Analog Surveillance System, Components of a Digital/IP Surveillance System, Understanding Video Signal Types and Standards, Purpose of a Digital Video Recorder (DVR), Purpose of a Network Video Recorder (NVR), Legal and Ethical Considerations for Monitoring, Roles and Responsibilities of a Technician/Operator, Common Security Industry Terminology.
Module 2: Camera and Lens Technology Types of Security Cameras (Dome, Bullet, Box, PTZ), Camera Sensor Basics (CMOS and CCD), Understanding Camera Resolution (TVL, Megapixels), Lens Selection (Fixed vs. Varifocal), Calculating Field of View (FoV) and Optimal Height, Illumination and Lux Levels, Infrared (IR) and Night Vision Fundamentals, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Backlight Compensation (BLC), Camera Housing and Environmental Protection (IP Ratings), Camera Power Supply Requirements.
Module 3: DVR/NVR Hardware and Installation DVR/NVR Hardware Components and Ports, Hard Disk Drive (HDD) Installation and Formatting, Initial System Setup and On-Screen Display (OSD) Navigation, User Account Creation and Access Control, Connecting Cameras and Monitors to the Recorder, Cabling and Connector Types (BNC, RJ45) for Video Signal, Power Wiring and System Grounding, Basic System Testing and Verification, Remote Control and Input Device Setup, Documentation of Installed Components.
Module 4: Recording and Playback Management Setting Up Recording Schedules (Continuous, Motion, Alarm), Configuring Motion Detection Zones and Sensitivity, Video Compression and Quality Settings, Understanding Frame Rate and Storage Consumption, Managing Hard Drive Space and Data Overwriting, Locating and Searching Recorded Events, Video Playback Features (Speed, Reverse, Frame-by-Frame), Backing Up and Exporting Video Footage, Troubleshooting Recording Failures, Setting Up Watermarking and Time Stamps.
