Course Id: CTP/Q0001.
Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Tunneling Engineer course is designed to provide specialized knowledge and technical skills required for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of tunnels and underground structures. The course covers key topics such as geotechnical investigations, tunneling methods (e.g., TBM, NATM, cut-and-cover), structural design, ground support systems, waterproofing, and ventilation.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 2: Tunnel Design and Analysis: Design Criteria and Load Considerations, Rock and Soil Tunnel Design Methods, Lining Design and Support Systems, Numerical Modeling and Finite Element Analysis, Waterproofing and Drainage Design, Structural Behavior of Tunnel Linings.
Module 3: Tunneling Methods and Equipment: Conventional (Drill and Blast) Tunneling Method, Mechanized Tunneling (TBM, Shield), NATM (New Austrian Tunneling Method), Microtunneling and Pipe Jacking, Excavation and Muck Disposal Techniques, Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Components and Operations.
Module 4: Ground Behavior and Support Systems: Ground Classification and Behavior During Excavation, Ground Improvement Techniques (Grouting, Freezing), Temporary and Permanent Support Systems, Shotcrete Applications and Quality Control, Instrumentation and Monitoring, Settlement Control and Mitigation Measures.
