Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Introduction to Tourism: The nature and characteristics of the tourism industry, the measurement of tourism, factors influencing demand for tourism, economic impacts of tourism, social and cultural aspects of tourism, tourism and the environment, tourism policy, planning and development.
Evolution of Tourism: Objectives, historical perspective of tourism in India, evolutionary changes in human lifestyle, antecendents of modern tourism, early trade routes of the world and tourism, educational tourism in the past, religious and pilgrimage tourism.
Hospitality and Catering: Hospitality industry, factors impacting the hospitality industry, classification of hostel, guest expectations during arrival and departure, various departments of a hotel. Different types of cuisines.
Fundamentals of Travel: Objectives, significance of geography in enhancing travel and tourism, location on the globe/map, geographical time-lag, international date line, determining time on the globe, communication through maps and charts.
Supporting Operations: Objectives, the personnel and administration department, the vigilance and security department, maintenance department, finance and accounts department, the sanitation and gardening department.
