Eligibility: 10+2 or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Textile Machinery Technician course is designed to equip learners with in-depth knowledge and practical training related to various types of textile machinery used in modern manufacturing units. The objective is to prepare participants for the efficient handling, repair, and preventive maintenance of machines used in the spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, printing, and finishing departments.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Introduction to Textile Machinery and Industry Overview: Basics of textile manufacturing processes, Types and functions of textile machinery, Role of a textile machinery technician, Overview of spinning, weaving, knitting, and finishing machines, Safety standards in textile workshops, Importance of preventive maintenance.
Module 2: Spinning Machinery and Maintenance: Working principles of blow room, carding, drawing, roving, and ring spinning machines, Functions and parts of each machine, Common faults and troubleshooting techniques, Lubrication and alignment practices, Routine inspection and maintenance schedules, Upgradation and automation in spinning units.
Module 3: Weaving and Knitting Machinery: Types of looms (shuttle, shuttleless, rapier, air-jet, water-jet), Mechanisms of weaving machines (shedding, picking, beating), Circular and flat knitting machine types and working, Timing, settings, and adjustments in looms, Defect diagnosis and machine balancing, Spare parts management.
Module 4: Dyeing, Printing, and Finishing Machines: Introduction to textile wet processing machinery, Types of dyeing machines (jet, jigger, winch, soft flow), Printing machines and their maintenance, Finishing machines (calendaring, compacting, raising), Cleaning and calibration procedures, Energy-saving techniques in processing units.
Module 5: Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems in Textile Machines: Basics of textile machine electrical systems and wiring, Pneumatic systems used in automation, Hydraulic systems and maintenance practices, Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults, Motor controls, sensors, and PLC basics, Safety protocols while handling electrical systems.
Module 6: Workshop Practices and Career Skills: Hands-on training with tools and measuring instruments, Reading machine manuals and technical diagrams, Maintenance documentation and log keeping, Communication with engineers and operators, Soft skills and teamwork for technicians, Career opportunities and industry trends for textile machinery technicians.
