Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Textile Designer course is designed to equip learners with the creative, technical, and practical skills required to conceptualize, develop, and produce innovative textile designs for fashion, home furnishings, and industrial applications. The course covers key areas such as fabric structures, color theory, pattern development, digital textile printing, weaving and knitting design, surface embellishments, and trend forecasting.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 2: Textile Fibers, Yarns, and Materials: Classification of Natural and Synthetic Fibers, Fiber Properties and Suitability for Design, Yarn Types and Yarn Construction Techniques, Fabric Construction Methods and Weave Structures, Sustainable and Innovative Textile Materials, Selection of Materials for Functional and Aesthetic Appeal.
Module 3: Surface Design Techniques: Block Printing, Screen Printing, and Digital Printing Techniques, Tie-Dye, Batik, and Resist Dyeing Methods, Embroidery and Appliqué as Surface Ornamentation, Fabric Painting and Surface Manipulation, Use of CAD Software in Surface Design, Trend Analysis in Print and Pattern Development.
Module 4: Design Development and Portfolio Building: Concept Development and Mood Boards, Theme-Based Design Projects, Repeat Patterns, Layouts, and Colorways, Creating Collections for Apparel, Home, and Technical Textiles, Design Presentation and Documentation, Portfolio Compilation and Digital Showcase Techniques.
Module 5: Textile CAD and Digital Tools: Introduction to CAD Software for Textile Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, NedGraphics), Creating Textile Repeats and Seamless Patterns Digitally, Color Reduction and Fabric Simulation, Digital Embroidery and Jacquard Design Tools, Textile Trend Boards and Storyboarding, File Management and Print-Ready Artwork Preparation.
