Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Mechanical Safety Inspector course is designed to provide in-depth training on identifying, assessing, and mitigating mechanical hazards in machinery, equipment, and systems. The course covers mechanical components such as gears, shafts, pulleys, belts, rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Participants will learn inspection techniques, failure analysis, maintenance safety, and how to verify compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 12100, ASME, ANSI, and OSHA.Â
Duration: Three Month.
 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
 Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Mechanical Safety and Inspection: Introduction to mechanical safety principles and objectives, Types of mechanical systems and components in industries, Common mechanical hazards (crushing, shearing, entanglement), Role and responsibilities of a Mechanical Safety Inspector, Importance of mechanical inspections in accident prevention, Overview of applicable mechanical safety standards (ISO, OSHA, ASME).
Module 2: Mechanical Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Techniques for identifying hazards in mechanical equipment and processes, Performing risk assessments based on severity, frequency, and probability, Evaluation of rotating and moving parts, hot surfaces, and pressure systems, Using HIRA and JSA tools for mechanical safety, Documentation and communication of identified risks, Hierarchy of controls in mechanical hazard mitigation.
Module 3: Inspection of Mechanical Systems and Equipment: Inspection procedures for gears, belts, pulleys, conveyors, shafts, and presses, Assessing guarding systems and mechanical interlocks, Inspection of lifting equipment, hoists, and cranes for compliance, Verification of lubrication, alignment, and maintenance status, Use of inspection tools and instruments (calipers, gauges, alignment tools), Reporting mechanical defects and unsafe conditions.
Module 4: Preventive Maintenance and Failure Analysis: Principles of preventive and predictive maintenance, Common mechanical failure modes and root causes, Maintenance records and inspection history analysis, Integration of inspection findings into maintenance plans, Lubrication schedules, wear and tear detection, and vibration analysis, Coordinating with maintenance teams for corrective actions.
Module 5: Legal Requirements and Mechanical Safety Regulations: Overview of mechanical safety regulations and compliance codes, National and international mechanical safety laws (Factories Act, OSHA, ISO 14121), Certification and inspection documentation requirements, Reporting procedures for non-compliance and incidents, Role of statutory bodies and third-party inspections, Legal liabilities and penalties for mechanical failures.
Module 6: Safety Audits, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement: Planning and conducting mechanical safety audits and walkthroughs, Creating and maintaining mechanical inspection checklists, Writing inspection reports and recommending corrective measures, Tracking compliance and audit follow-up activities, Promoting safety awareness and training among mechanical personnel, Case studies on mechanical failures and successful safety interventions.
