Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Food Safety Regulations and Compliance course is designed to train food industry professionals, quality controllers, and hospitality staff in legal and procedural frameworks for food safety. It focuses on regulatory guidelines, hygiene practices, hazard analysis, and the implementation of national and international food safety systems.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Food Safety and Quality: Definition of food safety and food quality, Importance of food safety in the supply chain, Common foodborne illnesses and causes, Food contamination types (physical, chemical, biological), Overview of food microbiology, Safe food handling practices, Basic principles of hygiene and sanitation, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), Introduction to food safety culture.
Module 2: National and International Food Safety Regulations: Overview of FSSAI (India) regulations, Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, FSSAI licensing and registration process, Food labeling and packaging regulations, Food additives and fortification rules, Codex Alimentarius guidelines, HACCP principles and framework, ISO 22000 food safety standard, US FDA and EU regulations overview, Penalties and legal actions for non-compliance.
Module 3: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP): Introduction to HACCP system, Prerequisite programs for HACCP, Seven principles of HACCP, Hazard identification and risk assessment, Establishing critical control points (CCPs), Monitoring procedures and corrective actions, Recordkeeping and verification, HACCP plan documentation, Implementation challenges in industry, Case studies of HACCP in food sectors.
Module 4: Food Safety Audits and Inspections: Types of food safety audits (internal, external), Preparing for audits and inspections, Audit tools and checklists, Non-conformance reporting and corrective actions, Verification and validation in food systems, FSSAI inspection protocols, ISO-based audit processes, Traceability systems in food safety, Handling recalls and withdrawals, Role of third-party certifications.
Module 5: Personal Hygiene and Facility Sanitation: Personal hygiene for food handlers, Protective clothing and equipment (PPE), Handwashing and sanitization protocols, Cleaning and disinfection procedures, Pest control in food facilities, Layout design for hygiene compliance, Water quality and sanitation management, Waste disposal practices, Allergen control and cross-contamination prevention, Training programs for food handlers.
