Objective: The Certificate in Firefighting and Safety Operations course is designed to develop skilled professionals capable of responding to fire emergencies, ensuring fire prevention, and maintaining safety protocols across various sectors. The course blends real-life firefighting drills with safety operations training, making it ideal for aspiring fire personnel, safety officers, and emergency responders.

 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
 Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.

Module 1: Introduction to Fire Science and Safety: Basics of fire and combustion, Fire triangle and tetrahedron, Classification of fire types (A, B, C, D, K), Stages of fire development, Common fire hazards in residential and industrial settings, Principles of fire prevention, Importance of firefighting and safety operations, Introduction to firefighting as a profession, Fire safety laws and standards overview, Role and responsibility of firefighters.
Module 2: Firefighting Equipment and Their Usage: Types of fire extinguishers and applications, Fire hoses and nozzles, Fire hydrant system and usage, Breathing apparatus and SCBA sets, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Rescue tools (ladders, cutters, ropes), Fire detection and alarm systems, Thermal imaging cameras, Communication devices used in firefighting, Maintenance and inspection of firefighting equipment.
Module 3: Firefighting Techniques and Tactics: Use of water, foam, dry chemical, and COâ‚‚ in firefighting, Direct and indirect attack methods, Ventilation techniques in enclosed fires, Controlling flammable liquid fires, Electrical fire suppression procedures, Fire suppression in confined and elevated spaces, Fire control in multi-storey buildings, Firefighting in vehicles and machinery, Use of hose lines and ladder placement, Post-fire overhaul and monitoring.
Module 4: Rescue Operations and Emergency Handling: Search and rescue techniques, Victim lifting and evacuation methods, Use of stretchers and emergency kits, First aid and CPR for fire victims, Rescue from heights and confined spaces, Handling hazardous materials and chemical spills, Fire evacuation procedures and crowd control, Role of Incident Command System (ICS), Emergency communication and coordination, Post-incident recovery and support.
