Certification Name: Certificate in Fire Rescue Technician
Course Id: CFRT/Q0001.
Eligibility: 10+2 (higher Secondary) or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Fire Rescue Technician course is designed to provide hands-on and theoretical training in fire suppression, technical rescue, and emergency response procedures. The course covers fire dynamics, use of firefighting equipment (hoses, ladders, breathing apparatus), rescue from collapsed structures, confined spaces, high angles, and water emergencies. Participants will also learn victim extrication, triage and first aid, scene safety assessment, and coordination with emergency services.Â
Duration: Three Month.
 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire Behavior and Rescue Operations: Understanding fire science and combustion stages, Classification and characteristics of fires, Fire spread dynamics in different environments, Role and responsibilities of a Fire Rescue Technician, Coordination with emergency response teams, Importance of quick decision-making during rescue operations.
Module 2: Firefighting Equipment and Suppression Techniques: Types and uses of firefighting equipment (hoses, nozzles, extinguishers, ladders), Fire suppression techniques for different fire classes (A, B, C, D, K), Operation of fire pumps, hydrants, and foam systems, Deployment of fixed and portable firefighting systems, Use of thermal imaging cameras and fire blankets, Maintenance and inspection of firefighting tools.
Module 3: Search, Rescue, and Victim Handling: Search and rescue procedures in fire-affected buildings and confined spaces, Techniques for locating and extricating trapped victims, Safe lifting, carrying, and evacuation methods, Rescue operations in high-rise buildings, collapsed structures, and vehicles, Use of ropes, harnesses, and stretchers, Coordination with EMS and support services.
Module 4: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Safety Measures: Selection and proper use of firefighting PPE and protective clothing, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) operation and emergency procedures, Heat, smoke, and chemical exposure precautions, Team safety practices and accountability systems, Decontamination procedures post-rescue, Fireground communication and safety protocols.
Module 5: Emergency Medical Response and First Aid: Basic life support and CPR techniques, Triage and first aid for burn victims, fractures, and smoke inhalation, Use of emergency medical kits and defibrillators, Stabilizing victims before evacuation, Scene safety during medical emergencies, Handover procedures to paramedics and hospitals.
Module 6: Fire Safety Codes, Drills, and Incident Management: Overview of fire safety codes and legal requirements, Conducting fire drills and evacuation exercises, Incident command system and reporting hierarchy, Post-incident debriefing and documentation, Equipment readiness and log maintenance, Case studies on fire rescue scenarios and best practices.
