Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective: This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of fire prevention, firefighting techniques, emergency response protocols, and safety regulations. It covers risk assessment, use of firefighting equipment, evacuation procedures, and coordination during emergencies.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Fire and Emergency Services: Introduction to fire science, Fire triangle and tetrahedron, Types and classes of fire, Stages of fire growth, Heat transfer methods (conduction, convection, radiation), Common fire hazards, Types of emergencies and disasters, Role of fire services in emergency response, Basic terminology used in firefighting, Fire and emergency services organization structure.
Module 2: Fire Prevention and Protection Systems: Fire detection and alarm systems, Fire suppression systems (sprinklers, foam, CO₂), Portable fire extinguishers – types and usage, Fire hydrant system and maintenance, Smoke and heat ventilation systems, Fire-resistant materials and passive protection, Evacuation systems and signage, Inspection and maintenance of fire safety systems, Fire safety audits, National Building Code fire safety norms.
Module 3: Emergency Planning and Disaster Response: Types of emergencies (natural, man-made, technological), Emergency response planning, Incident Command System (ICS), Evacuation planning and drills, Role of first responders, Emergency communication and coordination, Mass casualty management, Resource mobilization and deployment, Community awareness and preparedness, Psychological first aid and crisis management.
Module 4: Firefighting Equipment and Operations: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for firefighters, Breathing apparatus and usage, Firefighting tools and their maintenance, Hose laying and nozzle techniques, Use of ladders and ropes, Rescue from confined spaces, Firefighting in high-rise buildings, Foam and dry chemical extinguishing operations, Use of thermal imaging cameras, Safety precautions during operations.
Module 5: Rescue Operations and First Aid: Casualty assessment and triage, Rescue techniques in fire, flood, and accidents, Lifting and moving victims, Basic first aid and CPR, Burn injuries – treatment and handling, Shock and bleeding control, Use of stretchers and splints, Victim transportation protocols, Handling hazardous materials during rescue, Coordination with medical and disaster relief teams.
Module 6: Fire Safety Laws, Training and Documentation: Overview of fire safety legislation and codes, Role and powers of fire authorities, Fire licenses and compliance requirements, Training needs for emergency personnel, Conducting mock drills and training sessions, Fire safety documentation and reporting, Investigating fire incidents and reporting, Maintaining incident records and logs, Public awareness and education programs, Career roles in fire and emergency services.
