Duration: One Month.
Objective: This course aims to provide learners with a thorough understanding of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, including types of chargers, installation requirements, and operational management. It covers electrical systems, safety protocols, maintenance procedures, and emerging technologies in EV infrastructure.

Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.

Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Introduction to Electric Vehicles and Charging Infrastructure: Basics of electric vehicles (EVs), Types of EVs (BEV, PHEV, HEV), Components of an EV, Importance of charging infrastructure, Classification of EV chargers (AC, DC, fast, slow), Public vs private charging stations, Charging standards and protocols (CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T), Overview of EV market trends, Government policies and subsidies for EVs, Role of EV charging in clean energy transition.
Types and Technologies of EV Charging Stations: AC Level 1 and Level 2 charging, DC fast charging technology, Ultra-fast charging systems, Wireless and inductive charging technology, Smart charging and vehicle-to-grid (V2G), On-board vs off-board charging, EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) specifications, Charging connectors and plug types, Compatibility with different EV models, Charging station ratings and load capacity.
Components and Design of Charging Stations: Charging unit and connectors, Power supply and energy meters, Control and communication systems, Protection devices (MCBs, RCDs, surge protection), Cabling and wiring requirements, EV management systems and software, Battery management system (BMS) interface, Cooling systems in fast chargers, Charger enclosure and safety design, Designing a modular and scalable EV charging setup.
