Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Environmental Impact Assessment Professional course is designed to provide participants with the theoretical foundation and practical expertise needed to carry out effective EIAs for infrastructure, industrial, and development projects. The course covers EIA methodologies, screening and scoping processes, baseline environmental studies, impact prediction and evaluation, mitigation planning, and preparation of EIA and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) reports.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA): Definition and purpose of EIA, Historical development and global perspective of EIA, Principles and objectives of EIA, Legal and institutional framework for EIA (national and international), Role and responsibilities of an EIA Specialist, Overview of EIA process and life cycle.
Module 2: Screening, Scoping, and Baseline Studies: EIA screening criteria and thresholds, Scoping methods and Terms of Reference (ToR) preparation, Identifying key environmental and social components, Stakeholder consultation in scoping, Conducting baseline environmental surveys (air, water, soil, biodiversity), Data collection techniques and seasonal considerations.
Module 3: Impact Identification, Prediction, and Evaluation: Methods of impact identification (checklists, matrices, overlays), Techniques for impact prediction (modeling, simulations), Evaluation of significance and magnitude of impacts, Cumulative impact assessment, Direct, indirect, and residual impacts, Tools for impact analysis and prioritization.
Module 4: Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and Mitigation Measures: Designing effective mitigation strategies, Structure and components of an EMP, Cost-benefit analysis and risk reduction planning, Institutional and monitoring responsibilities, Adaptive management and contingency planning, Integration of EMP into project planning and implementation.
Module 5: Public Participation, Reporting, and Review Process: Importance of public consultation in EIA, Techniques for stakeholder engagement and grievance redressal, Preparing the EIA report and Non-Technical Summary (NTS), Review and appraisal of EIA reports by authorities, Addressing feedback and revisions, Transparency and access to information.
Module 6: Monitoring, Compliance, and Post-EIA Audits: Environmental monitoring plan and performance indicators, Post-clearance monitoring and reporting obligations, Compliance audits and corrective action planning, Role of remote sensing and GIS in EIA monitoring, Institutional mechanisms for enforcement, Case studies and emerging trends in EIA practice.
