Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Internal Auditor course is designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform effective internal audits within EMS organizations. The course covers EMS operational standards, quality management principles, audit planning and execution, checklist development, documentation review, and performance evaluation. Participants will learn to assess compliance with national regulations (e.g., NABH, NHTSA), ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001), and internal protocols related to patient care, emergency response, and safety practices.Â
Duration: Three Month.
 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to EMS and Internal Auditing: Overview of Emergency Medical Services and system components, Objectives and benefits of internal audits in EMS, Role and responsibilities of an EMS Internal Auditor, Fundamentals of auditing (independence, evidence-based, confidentiality), ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 relevance to EMS, Ethics and auditor competencies.
Module 2: EMS Standards, Protocols, and Regulatory Requirements: Applicable EMS standards and operational protocols, Legal and regulatory framework for EMS providers, Licensing and compliance for ambulance and response units, Infection control and patient safety regulations, Data protection and confidentiality in healthcare, Integration with national emergency response policies.
Module 3: Internal Audit Planning and Checklist Development: Types of internal audits and audit scheduling, Setting audit scope, objectives, and criteria, Process mapping of EMS operations and services, Risk identification and focus areas for auditing, Developing audit checklists and questionnaires, Communication and coordination with auditees.
Module 4: Conducting the Internal Audit: Opening meeting and briefing procedures, Performing document review and on-site verification, Interviewing EMS staff and observing operations, Sampling and objective evidence collection techniques, Identifying and recording nonconformities, Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and patient care standards.
Module 5: Reporting and Corrective Action Process: Writing clear and factual audit findings, Classifying nonconformities (minor, major, observations), Conducting closing meeting and audit summary presentation, Coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), Tracking action implementation and audit follow-up, Documentation and audit record maintenance.
Module 6: Performance Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Using audit results to enhance EMS quality systems, Key performance indicators and internal controls, Risk-based thinking and proactive improvements, Preparing for external audits and certifications, Internal auditor self-assessment and skill development, Case studies of successful EMS internal audit practices.
