Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.

Objective: The Certified Electrical Safety Auditor course is designed to equip participants with the expertise to evaluate and improve electrical safety practices in industrial, commercial, and institutional settings. The course covers key auditing principles, identification of electrical hazards (such as arc flash, shock, and fire risks), inspection of electrical installations, assessment of maintenance practices, and verification of compliance with standards like NFPA 70E, OSHA, IEC, and IS 732. 

Duration: Three Month.

 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.

 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Electrical Safety and Auditing Principles: Overview of electrical hazards and their impacts, Basic concepts of current, voltage, resistance, and grounding, Importance of electrical safety in workplaces and industries, Principles and objectives of electrical safety auditing, Roles and responsibilities of an Electrical Safety Auditor, Overview of national and international standards (NFPA 70E, IEC, IS, OSHA).

Module 2: Legal Framework, Codes, and Regulatory Compliance: Applicable laws and electrical safety regulations, Key standards and codes for installations and equipment (IS 732, IS 3043, IS 5216), Statutory requirements for periodic safety audits, Electrical licensing and competency requirements, Penalties and liabilities for non-compliance, Documentation and reporting obligations under safety acts.

Module 3: Electrical Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Types of electrical hazards (shock, arc flash, arc blast, fire), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) in electrical systems, Arc flash boundary and incident energy calculations, Control measures and risk mitigation strategies, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for electrical tasks, Recording and classification of electrical risks.

Module 4: Electrical Installations, Equipment Safety, and Inspection: Safety requirements for electrical panels, distribution boards, and wiring, Inspection procedures for earthing, bonding, and lightning protection, Evaluating condition of cables, breakers, and switchgear, Electrical system labeling and safety signage, Use of thermography and testing tools for fault detection, Maintenance practices and safety interlocks verification.
