Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Customs Agent course is designed to equip professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to handle customs clearance and regulatory compliance for international trade. The course covers import-export procedures, Harmonized System (HS) code classification, customs documentation (Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, etc.), duties and taxes calculation, valuation rules, exemptions and incentives, and digital customs filing through ICEGATE or equivalent portals.
Duration: Three Month.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.
There is no negative marking in this module.

Module 1: Introduction to Customs and Trade Facilitation: Role and Responsibilities of a Customs Agent, Overview of International Trade and Customs Functions, Types of Customs Clearance Procedures, Key Stakeholders in Customs Operations, Importance of Compliance in Trade Facilitation, Customs Control and Risk Management Systems.
Module 2: Import and Export Documentation: Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill Preparation, Commercial Invoice and Packing List, Certificate of Origin and Related Trade Documents, Customs Valuation and Duty Assessment Forms, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Filing, Record-Keeping and Document Retention Policies.
Module 3: Classification and Valuation of Goods: HS Code Structure and Tariff Classification Rules, Techniques for Accurate Product Classification, Customs Valuation Methods (Transaction Value, Deductive Value, etc.), Calculation of Duties, Taxes, and Cess, Anti-Dumping and Safeguard Duties, Tools for Classification and Valuation Support.
Module 4: Customs Laws, Regulations, and Procedures: Customs Act and Allied Acts (Import/Export Control), Prohibited, Restricted, and Conditional Goods, Customs Clearance Procedures for Air, Sea, and Land Modes, Rules Related to Bonded Warehousing and Transshipment, Duty Drawback and Refund Mechanisms, Offenses, Penalties, and Appeals Process.
Module 5: Special Trade Schemes and Incentives: Export Promotion Schemes (EPCG, MEIS, SEIS), Advance Authorization and Duty-Free Import Schemes, Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and EOUs Procedures, Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and Preferential Duty Claims, Deemed Exports and Benefits, Customs Compliance for Re-Imports and Re-Exports.
