Module 2: Customer Identification and Verification (CIP): Know Your Customer (KYC) principles, Types of customers and risk categories, Documents for identity and address proof, C-KYC and e-KYC methods, Video-based Customer Identification Process (V-CIP), Digital ID verification and biometrics, Validating business entity documentation, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), Beneficial ownership identification, Handling high-risk and complex profiles.
