Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent.
Objective: The Certified Boiler Safety Operator course is designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required to operate and manage boiler systems safely and efficiently in industrial and commercial settings. The course covers boiler types and components, combustion principles, water treatment, steam system safety, pressure control devices, and emergency shutdown procedures.Â
Duration: Three Month.
 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
 Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Boilers and Safety Fundamentals: Types of boilers and their applications (fire-tube, water-tube, electric, etc.), Basic boiler components and working principles, Common hazards associated with boiler operations, Roles and responsibilities of a Boiler Safety Operator, Importance of safety regulations and operational standards (IBR, OSHA), Boiler safety terminologies and definitions.
Module 2: Boiler Installation, Inspection, and Pre-Startup Safety: Site selection and boiler room safety requirements, Boiler installation codes and mounting procedures, Inspection of safety valves, gauges, and accessories, Pre-startup checks and pressure testing, Ensuring proper ventilation and water quality, Documentation and regulatory compliance for commissioning.
Module 3: Boiler Operation and Safe Handling Procedures: Standard startup and shutdown procedures, Monitoring steam pressure, temperature, and fuel levels, Safe handling of fuels (solid, liquid, gas) and feedwater, Blowdown procedures and maintaining water chemistry, Operating control systems and emergency shutoff devices, Use of PPE and operational safety measures.
Module 4: Maintenance, Servicing, and Troubleshooting Safety: Routine preventive maintenance tasks and schedules, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during repair, Identifying and resolving operational issues (leaks, noise, pressure variation), Cleaning of tubes, burners, and fuel lines, Managing corrosion, scaling, and soot buildup, Recordkeeping and logbook maintenance.
Module 5: Emergency Preparedness and Risk Management: Recognizing warning signs of boiler failure or malfunction, Emergency shutdown and isolation procedures, Response to boiler explosions, fires, and steam leaks, First aid and rescue protocols for burn or scald injuries, Fire extinguisher usage and evacuation drills, Risk assessment and root cause analysis of incidents.
Module 6: Legal Compliance, Audits, and Safety Culture: Applicable boiler safety laws and regulations (IBR, Factories Act), Boiler inspection and certification requirements, Internal safety audits and inspection checklists, Operator certification and training requirements, Promoting safety awareness and reporting culture, Case studies on boiler-related incidents and lessons learned.
