Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent is required.
Objective:This course aims to develop a strong foundation in billing and invoicing processes, including invoice preparation, payment tracking, tax application, and the use of billing software. It also focuses on improving accuracy, time management, record-keeping, and communication skills needed to support accounting and administrative functions in various business environments.
Duration: Three Months.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Introduction to Billing and Invoicing: Role of a billing and invoicing assistant, Importance of accurate billing in business, Types of invoices – proforma, commercial, tax, debit and credit notes, Overview of billing process and documentation, Key terms in billing and invoicing, Basic accounting principles related to billing, Understanding sales and purchase cycles, Components of an invoice, Common billing errors and how to avoid them, Legal aspects of billing and invoicing.
Module 2: Billing Software and Tools: Introduction to billing and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks), Creating and managing invoices using software, GST billing and compliance, Managing customer and supplier records, Payment tracking and reminders, Generating reports and summaries, Data entry standards and accuracy, Cloud-based invoicing systems, Integration with other financial tools, Hands-on practice with software tools.
Module 3: Taxation and Compliance: Understanding GST – CGST, SGST, IGST, GST registration and returns filing, Tax invoice vs. retail invoice, Input tax credit (ITC) calculation, TDS basics and billing implications, HSN and SAC code usage, E-way bill generation and requirements, Statutory record-keeping practices, Penalties for non-compliance, Coordination with auditors and tax consultants.
Module 4: Documentation and Record Management: Organizing and storing billing documents, Soft copy and hard copy documentation, Invoice numbering and tracking system, Filing and archiving techniques, Record retention policies, Preparing monthly and annual billing reports, Coordinating with sales and finance teams, Maintaining confidentiality of records, Use of Excel for documentation, Auditing and internal control practices.
Module 5: Customer Communication and Payment Follow-up: Communicating with clients regarding bills and payments, Email etiquette and billing correspondence, Clarifying invoice details and resolving discrepancies, Payment terms and follow-up reminders, Handling late payments and escalation process, Polite and professional interaction with customers, Maintaining client billing history, Sending payment confirmations and receipts, Preparing statements of accounts, Building client trust through accurate billing.
