Eligibility: 10th Grade (High school) or equivalent is required.
Objective: The Certificate in Basic Sewing + Pattern Making + Fashion Accessories Designing is designed to provide learners with practical skills in garment creation and accessory design. The course covers basic sewing techniques, stitching methods, and garment construction, along with pattern making for customized clothing. Students also learn to design fashion accessories such as bags, belts, and jewelry to complement outfits and enhance overall style.
Duration: Three Months.
 How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:
 Step 1: Choose the course you wish to get certified in.
 Step 2: Click on the “Enroll Now” button.
 Step 3: Proceed with the enrollment process.
 Step 4: Enter your billing details and continue to course fee payment.
 Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:
Debit/Credit Card, Wallet, Paytm, Net Banking, UPI, or Google Pay.
 Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
 Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
 Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
 Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

Duration- 60 minutes.
No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Sewing – Introduction to sewing, Types of sewing machines, Hand stitching techniques, Basic stitches and seams, Fabric selection and types, Thread and needle selection, Measuring and marking techniques, Cutting and handling fabrics, Safety and machine maintenance, Practical exercises in basic sewing.
Module 2: Advanced Sewing Techniques – Decorative stitching, Zippers and button attachments, Pleats and gathers, Darts and tucks, Hemming and finishing edges, Pockets and collars, Sleeve and cuff techniques, Alteration and resizing, Understanding fabric stretch and behavior, Practice projects on garments.
Module 3: Introduction to Pattern Making – Understanding garment patterns, Tools for pattern making, Drafting basic patterns, Taking body measurements, Creating bodice, sleeve, and skirt patterns, Pattern adjustments and modifications, Understanding seam allowances, Cutting patterns from templates, Layout planning for fabric, Practical exercises in pattern making.
Module 4: Advanced Pattern Making – Creating complex garment patterns, Draping techniques, Pattern grading for different sizes, Creating collars, yokes, and pleats, Sleeves and bodice variations, Pattern alterations for fit, Mock-up (muslin) creation, Pattern marking and labeling, Troubleshooting pattern issues, Practical exercises in advanced pattern drafting.
Module 5: Fashion Accessories Designing – Introduction to fashion accessories, Types of accessories (bags, belts, jewelry, scarves), Materials and tools for accessory design, Designing handbags and clutches, Creating belts and headwear, Jewelry design basics, Fabric-based accessory making, Embellishment techniques, Color and texture coordination, Practical exercises in accessory creation.
Module 6: Professional Practice & Portfolio Development – Integrating sewing, pattern making, and accessories designing, Client consultation basics, Designing for small business or boutique, Presentation of designs, Portfolio creation, Marketing and selling handmade products, Ethical considerations in design, Workshops and live projects, Tools and software for design, Capstone project: Create a complete outfit with matching accessories.
