Eligibility: 10th Grade (high school) or Equivalent.
Duration: Two Month.
Objective: The Certificate in Automotive Service Technician (Four Wheeler) course is designed to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of four-wheeled vehicles. The curriculum covers engine systems, electrical components, braking systems, suspension, and diagnostic techniques.
How to Enroll and Get Certified in Your Chosen Course:

Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway. Pay the course and exam fee using one of the following methods:

Step 6: After successful payment, you will receive your study material login ID and password via email within 48 hours of fee payment.
Step 7: Once you complete the course, take the online examination.
Step 8: Upon passing the examination, you will receive:
• A soft copy (scanned) of your certificate via email within 7 days of examination.
• A hard copy (original with official seal and signature) sent to your address within 45 day of declaration of result.
Step 9: After certification, you will be offered job opportunities aligned with your area of interest.

No. of Questions- 30. (Multiple Choice Questions).
Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 40%.

Fundamentals of Four – Wheeler: Safety Rules & Introduction to Tools, General Maintenance, Dashboard Indicator Lights, Tires, The Internal Combustion Engine & Engine Oil, Cooling System, Fuel System, Electrical System, Drive Train, Brakes, The Auto Repair Industry.
Working of Four Wheeler Engine: Introduction, Classification of petroleum fuels used for IC engine, Main components of reciprocating IC engines, Methods of using Hydrogen as a fuel in CI engines, Advantages of using Hydrogen fuelled engine, disadvantages of using Hydrogen fuelled engine, Important fuel specifications for gasoline, Important fuel specifications for diesel.
Four Wheeler Engine System: I C Engine, Engine Components, Spark plug, Classification of IC engine, Classification based on ignition, Piston Rings, Water jackets.
Four Wheeler Engine Support System: Cutaway of a Four-Stroke Supercharged Diesel Engine, Cross Section of a V-type Four Stroke Diesel Engine, Diesel Engine Wet Cylinder Sleeve, Piston and Piston Rod, Diesel Engine Crankshaft and Bearings, Oil Bath Air Filter, Fuel Injection, Compression.
Electrical System in Four Wheeler: Introduction, charging circuit, battery construction, battery case, cover, and caps, battery capacity, cleaning the battery and terminals, cell voltage test, neutral safety switch, spark plug wires, wire support and protection, regulation of generator out put.
Industrial Visit / Training: Emergency Preparedness and Response, Engine Oil, Power Steering Fluid, Battery Fluid and Terminals, Vehicle Lighting.
