Fundamentals of Drafting: Introduction to technical drawing and its importance, Drawing instruments and their uses, Types of lines, lettering, and dimensioning, Geometric constructions and projections, Scale and proportion in drafting, Orthographic and isometric projections, Basic symbols and conventions in drafting, Standard drafting practices (ISO, ASME, BIS).
Engineering Drawing Principles: Principles of orthographic projection, First-angle vs. third-angle projection, Sectional views and conventions, Auxiliary views and their applications, Tolerances and fits in engineering drawings, Surface finish symbols and welding symbols, Fasteners, screws, and threaded connections, Introduction to blueprint reading.
Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD): Introduction to CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.), Basic commands and interface navigation, Creating 2D drawings in CAD, Modifying and editing CAD drawings, Layer management and dimensioning in CAD, 3D modeling basics in CAD software, Importing and exporting CAD files, Printing and plotting drawings from CAD.
