Rigid Packaging Material & Adhesive: Rigid plastic packaging, advantages of flexible packaging, different types of flexible packaging materials and their applications, laminated packaging film, microwaveable vacuum-pack bags, standard laminated bags/pouches, stand-up zipper pouches.
Packing Machinery & Printing: Introduction, objectives, packaging materials used for fluid milk, processes for packaging fluid milk. machinery involved in packaging fluid milk, packaging machinery, functions of packaging, form, fill and seal machine, seal and shrink-packaging machine, retail packaging, bulk packaging.
Product Packaging: Product packaging- a key ingredient for food and drink, packaging materials, food packaging and climate change, new packaging technologies, legislation regulating food packaging.
Drug & Pharmaceutical Packaging: Introduction, functions of packaging, types of packaging, secondary packaging, package testing, types of packaging materials used for pharmaceutical packaging, manufacture of glass, types of plastics, tamper resistant packaging.
